Armenian Grapplers Win 17 Medals at the Youth World Championships in Greece

On November 4, the 2025 Youth World Grappling Championships concluded in Loutraki, Greece. The tournament featured competitions in three age categories — U15, U17, and U20. Team Armenia participated in all three divisions and earned a total of 17 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver, and 12 bronze.
In nearly all age groups, Ukraine claimed first place in the team standings, except in the U20 Grappling Gi tournament, where Spain took the top spot. The largest number of gold medals went to athletes from Russia, competing in a neutral status and outside of the team rankings.
