Armenian wrestlers win 8 medals at the Tudor Jubircu Memorial Tournament in Chisinau

The international U20 freestyle wrestling tournament dedicated to the memory of Tudor Jubircu has concluded in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

Team Armenia took part in the competition with 10 wrestlers and achieved an impressive result, winning 8 medals. The Armenian team collected 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Sasha Petrosyan, Gagik Ghazaryan and Henrik Haykyan became tournament champions. Three more Armenian wrestlers reached the finals and won silver medals, while two others finished the competition with bronze.

The successful performance in Chisinau became an important stage of preparation for young Armenian wrestlers ahead of upcoming international competitions in the U20 age category.
