The 2024/25 Armenian Premier League season concluded on May 28, 2025. FC Noah emerged as the national champion, securing a historic domestic double by also winning the Armenian Cup. Ararat-Armenia took the silver medal, Urartu claimed bronze, while the reigning champions from the previous season, Pyunik, finished fourth.

European Qualification for the 2025/26 Season

  • Noah — UEFA Champions League, First Qualifying Round (unseeded)

  • Ararat-Armenia — UEFA Conference League, Second Qualifying Round (seeded)

  • Urartu — UEFA Conference League, First Round (seeded), Second Round (unseeded if they advance)

  • Pyunik — UEFA Conference League, both First and (if qualified) Second Rounds (seeded)

Fifth place went to FC Van, one of the season’s biggest surprises. Under the leadership of Vage Gevorgyan, the team came within one point of a historic qualification for European competition, narrowly losing out to Pyunik.

BKMA also stood out by finishing sixth — a record-high for the club, which had never previously risen above ninth place.

Relegation and Team Changes

At the end of the season, two clubs exited the Armenian Premier League:

FC Syunik, who finished second in the First League, will be promoted to the Premier League. The First League champions BKMA-2 are a reserve team and ineligible for promotion. The 2025/26 Armenian Premier League is expected to feature 10 teams — unless unforeseen changes occur.
