Nune Asatryan (weight category up to 60 kg), representing Russia, won the gold medal at the 2025 Women's Boxing World Championship. The tournament was held in Belgrade, where the athlete demonstrated exceptional skill and strength of spirit.
On her way to the championship title, Asatryan confidently defeated opponents from North Korea, Bulgaria, and Slovakia, and in the final match, she triumphed over Viktoria Grafeeva from Kazakhstan with a score of 5:0. This victory marked her first international success at such a high level.
Nune Asatryan was born in 2001 in the village of Sarnaghbyur, located in the Shirak region of Armenia. It was there that she first took up boxing under the guidance of her first coach, Rafik Ghukasyan. Later, she moved to Krasnodar, where she continued her sports career at the "Imperial" martial arts school.
