Armenia Defeats Lebanon 2-0 in Final Friendly Before EURO 2026

Before traveling to Lithuania for the UEFA Futsal EURO 2026, the Armenian national futsal team played another friendly match, defeating Lebanon 2-0.
One of Armenia’s goals was scored by goalkeeper Emin Garabekyants, who showcased excellent performance both in goal and in building attacks.
The match was held behind closed doors. Armenia’s head coach Ruben Nazaretyan used the game to test different formations and tactics, preparing the team for the important tournament. The team mainly consisted of reserve players and young players.
Previously, in the first warm-up match, Armenia had beaten Lebanon 8-3.
The final squad for EURO 2026 had been announced earlier. Armenia will depart for Lithuania on January 18 and will play its first group-stage match against Ukraine on January 22.
