On October 24 in Kaunas (Lithuania), the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Futsal Euro 2026 took place. The Armenian national team, which has reached the final stage of the tournament for the first time in its history, learned the names of its opponents.
Under the guidance of Ruben Nazaretyan, Armenia will compete in Group B, facing Lithuania, Czechia, and Ukraine — teams with solid experience in European championships.
The final stage of Euro 2026 will be held from January 21 to February 7 in Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia.
Head coach Ruben Nazaretyan told the Football Federation of Armenia’s press service:
“There are no weak teams at the European Championship. This is a tournament of the strongest. We are among them, and that’s already an achievement. But we’re not going to stop here. Our goal is to advance from the group, and we’ll do everything possible to achieve that.”
Armenia’s historic journey will begin on January 22 against Ukraine, followed by a match against Czechia on January 25, and will conclude with a game against Lithuania on January 28.
