Armenia and Montenegro Play Out a Scoring Draw – Spertsyan Scores a Brace (VIDEO)

On June 9 in the Montenegrin city of Nikšić, a friendly match took place at the “City” stadium between the national teams of Montenegro and Armenia. In an exciting game full of chances, the teams ended in a 2–2 draw.
Armenia opened the scoring in the very first minute — Eduard Spertsyan converted his opportunity and netted the opening goal. However, the hosts responded quickly: in the 5th minute, Vasilije Adžić equalized.
In the second half, Montenegro took the lead thanks to a goal from Andrija Bulatović, but nine minutes before the end of regular time, Spertsyan scored his second of the match to secure a fighting draw for Armenia. This brace was the midfielder's first for the national team. Spertsyan now has 9 goals in 34 appearances for Armenia.
This match also marked the debut appearances of Daniel Agbalian and Araki Eloyan for the Armenian national team.
