Ararat-Armenia meets Armenian community and Kasparov in Prague

Ahead of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round match between Sparta and Ararat-Armenia, a warm meeting was held in Prague between the representatives of the Armenian club and the local Armenian community.
The meeting was attended by Ararat-Armenia’s General Director Poghos Galstyan, members of the ALFA supporters group, numerous fans, and diaspora representatives. The presence of former Armenian national team goalkeeper Gevorg Kasparov attracted special attention. He was accompanied by his son Avet Kasparov, an 18-year-old footballer currently playing for Slovan Liberec U19 on loan from Sparta Prague.
Such meetings have become a good tradition for Ararat-Armenia, highlighting the club’s close ties with Armenian fans around the world.
The Sparta vs Ararat-Armenia match will take place on August 7 in Prague and marks the first leg of the UEFA Conference League 2025/26 third qualifying round.
