Armenia’s U19 Boxing Teams Ready for European Championships in Serbia

Armenia’s youth boxing teams are completing their preparations for the U19 European Boxing Championships, which will be held in Loznica, Serbia. The Armenian boxers are currently going through their final training sessions before departing for the host city on August 10.
The U19 European Championships, held under the auspices of European Boxing, will take place from August 11 to 22. Armenia will be represented by 15 athletes at the continental competition — 10 male and five female boxers.
Armenia Men’s Team
50 kg — Tigran Kirakosyan
55 kg — Vahram Dovlatbekyan
60 kg — Artur Avetisyan
65 kg — Suren Katvalyan
70 kg — Samvel Aslanyan
75 kg — Alen Stepanyan
80 kg — Samvel Siramargyan
85 kg — Tigran Sargsyan
90 kg — Vardan Avetisyan
+90 kg — Aram Tumanyan
The team’s senior coach is Karen Aghamalyan. The coaching staff also includes Nver Vardanyan and Sergey Sargsyan.

The women’s team is led by head coach Vazgen Badalyan, with Artur Melkumyan serving as coach.
The Armenian young boxers are approaching the European Championships after completing the final stage of their preparations. In the coming days, the teams will travel to Serbia, where they will compete for medals at the U19 European Boxing Championships.
