Armenia Wins Third Gold at the Moving Target Shooting World Championship

The Armenian national team continues its successful performance at the Moving Target Shooting World Championship, taking place in Tallinn from July 20 to 26, 2026.
On the second day of the competition, Armenia won the gold medal in the men’s team event in the “normal run” discipline.
Gor Khachatryan, Hovhannes Margaryan and Hayk Minasyan were crowned world champions. The Armenian shooters recorded a combined score of 1,719 points, securing the national team’s third gold medal of the championship.
On the opening day of the tournament, Armenian athletes won six medals: two gold, two silver and two bronze.
Armenia currently leads the championship medal standings with three gold medals. Ukraine, Germany and Kazakhstan each have one gold medal.
