Pyunik-09 Wins the Armenian U18 Cup

Pyunik-09 has become the winner of the Armenian U18 Cup for the 2025/2026 season. In the final match, the team defeated Academia-09-1 with a score of 3:1.
The main hero of the final was Seryozha Petrosyan, who scored a brace for Pyunik-09. Narek Hakobyan added another goal for the winning side. For Academia-09-1, Gor Grigoryan managed to reduce the deficit, but his team could not turn the match around.
This cup victory is an important achievement for Pyunik-09, which is having a strong season not only in the cup competition but also in the Armenian U18 Championship. The team is also leading the national U18 league and continues its fight for a domestic double.
The youth cup competitions of the 2025/2026 season have been very competitive for Armenia’s leading academies. Earlier, Pyunik also won the Armenian Cup in the U14 age category. Noah became the winner of the U15 and U17 tournaments, while Ararat-Armenia claimed the cups in the U13 and U16 categories.
