Marat Grigorian Defeats Mamuka Usubyan to Reach ONE SAMURAI Semifinals

Armenian kickboxer Marat Grigorian (71-14-1, 1 NC) defeated Russia-based Yazidi fighter Mamuka Usubyan (24-3).
The bout took place in Bangkok as part of ONE #TheInnerCircle25 and went the full distance. At the end of the fight, the judges awarded Grigorian a unanimous decision victory.
With the win, the Armenian fighter advanced to the semifinals of the ONE SAMURAI featherweight kickboxing tournament and remains in contention for the tournament title.
One of the biggest storylines of the tournament is the possibility of another meeting between Grigorian and Thai star Superbon Banchamek. The two have already faced each other three times, meaning another bout could become the fourth chapter of their rivalry.
Grigorian will first have to successfully navigate the remaining stages of the tournament to set up a potential showdown with Superbon.
