LeBron James to Continue His Career in Philadelphia

The 41-year-old LeBron James has signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The four-time NBA champion attracted interest from the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia this summer. James ultimately decided to continue his career with the Sixers.
The team had previously added Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics. Philadelphia’s roster also includes Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.

Philadelphia enjoyed a strong playoff run last season, eliminating Boston before losing to the eventual champions, the New York Knicks. Following its major roster additions, the team is expected to be one of the leading contenders for the NBA championship next season.
