Gor Lulukyan returns to Urartu

Urartu have announced the return of midfielder Gor Lulukyan. The 23-year-old academy graduate has signed a contract with his boyhood club after leaving the team in 2022.

Lulukyan spent the last two seasons at Ararat. The midfielder made 45 appearances for the Yerevan-based club and scored 3 goals.

For Urartu, this is their second official signing of the summer transfer window. Earlier, the club signed Japanese winger Katsuyuki Ishibashi, whose last team was Albirex Niigata from Singapore’s top division.

Lulukyan’s return can be seen as the club’s bet on its own academy graduate, who already has experience playing in the Armenian Premier League.
