Alexander Kovalenko Makes Official Debut for Lokomotiv

Midfielder Alexander Kovalenko has made his first official appearance for Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Armenia national team candidate came on as a substitute in the 68th minute of Lokomotiv’s opening match of the 2026/27 Russian Premier League season against Akhmat. Kovalenko played on the wing.
During his time on the pitch, he registered two key passes and completed all eight of his attempted passes, recording a 100% pass-completion rate. SofaScore gave him a rating of 6.6.
The match ended in a 1–1 draw. Lokomotiv opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Zelimkhan Bakayev. Akhmat equalised in the 83rd minute, with Russian Premier League debutant Erald Maksuti finding the net.
