On July 21, the draw for the third qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Armenian champions Noah, who advanced to the second round, discovered their potential opponent for the next stage.
If Noah manages to get past Hungarian side Ferencváros, they could face Bulgarian champions Ludogorets or Croatian club Rijeka in the third round. A matchup with Ludogorets would be especially symbolic, as their head coach is Portuguese manager Rui Mota, who previously worked with Noah.

This sets up a possible emotional and meaningful encounter between the Armenian team and their former coach, who knows the club very well.
