The Armenia women’s national football team suffered a defeat in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, losing to Luxembourg with a score of 1–3.
The only goal for Armenia was scored in the 28th minute by defender Svetlana Karagyozyan, who plays for Moscow’s Spartak. The assist came from Lara Kazandjian, who plays for the French club Lens.
After three matches, Armenia has 6 points and is in second place in the standings.
The team’s next match will take place on April 8 in Astana against the Kazakhstan national team.
