Armenia U19 Women Lose to Georgia in Friendly Match

On August 11 in Rustavi, the Armenia U19 women’s national team played a friendly against their Georgian counterparts. The match ended with a confident win for the hosts — 5-1.
In the very first minute, Anano Mikaberidze put Georgia ahead, and by the middle of the half, Keso Metonidze and Lolita Kaloyani made it 3-0. Before the break, Armenia managed to pull one back: Naira Aghvanyan scored in the 39th minute to bring some intrigue back into the game.
In the second half, Georgia continued to control the game. Lizi Kakulia extended the lead in the 61st minute, and closer to the end Mariam Jojua sealed the final score at 5-1.
