Armenia Women’s U18 Team Thrashes Gibraltar in EuroBasket Opener

Armenia’s women’s under-18 national team, just like the men’s side, began its campaign in the European Championship Division C with a victory. The tournament is being held in Kosovo.

In their opening game, the Armenian players secured a convincing 83–36 win over Gibraltar.

Lilit Gevorkova, who represents Nizhny Novgorod, was Armenia’s top scorer. She recorded 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Armenia will play its next game against Georgia on July 22.

Earlier, Armenia’s men’s U18 team also made a successful start to the tournament, defeating Gibraltar 82–62.
