The Armenia women’s national team will hold a training camp from May 31 to June 10 ahead of their upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying matches.

The team led by Mariam Stepanyan will prepare for two important fixtures. On June 5, Armenia will host Kazakhstan at the FFA Technical Centre/Football Academy. 4 days later, on June 9, the Armenian women’s national team will face Belarus in Georgia.

For Armenia, the upcoming matches will be an opportunity to improve their position in the group and respond after previous setbacks. Earlier in the campaign, the Armenian side lost to both Kazakhstan and Belarus by the same scoreline — 0:3.

Mariam Stepanyan has called up players from Armenian clubs, as well as footballers based abroad in Russia, the United States, England, Italy, Ukraine, Poland and Australia.
