Yurik Ogannisyan wins silver at the 2025 European Karate Championships

Russian athlete Yurik Ogannisyan (67 kg category) claimed a silver medal at the 2025 EKF European Karate Championships held in Yerevan.

In the final bout, Ogannisyan was narrowly defeated by Turkey’s Omer Ozer with a score of 1–2. On his way to the final, Ogannisyan delivered a strong performance, securing victories over competitors from Poland, Serbia, France, and Germany.

It is worth noting that the Armenian national team earned two bronze medals at the tournament.
