Yurik Mkhitaryan — silver medalist at the U20 World Championships in Greco-Roman wrestling

17-year-old Armenian wrestler Yurik Mkhitaryan (60 kg) won the silver medal at the U20 World Championships in Greco-Roman wrestling, held in Samokov (Bulgaria). This medal became the first for the Armenian national team at the ongoing tournament.
For Mkhitaryan, this was his debut at the U20 level, and he immediately demonstrated an impressive performance. Earlier, he had already won multiple medals at the European and World Championships among cadets (U17).
