Armenian futsal club Unisport have qualified for the main round of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League.
In their final preliminary-round match, held in Yerevan, the Armenian side defeated German champions Weilimdorf 5–2.
Unisport finished the group stage with a perfect record, winning all three of their matches. Earlier, the Yerevan-based club thrashed Icelandic side Reykjavik 14–1 and defeated Estonia’s Tallinn 5–1.
As a result, Unisport finished top of Group E with nine points. The Armenian team ended the preliminary round with an overall goal difference of 24–4.
The Champions League main round will begin in late October. According to the preliminary lineup, Unisport are set to compete in Group 5 alongside Poland’s Piast Gliwice, Azerbaijan’s Araz-Nakhchivan and another preliminary-round winner.
However, the composition of Unisport’s group could be changed in order to keep the Armenian and Azerbaijani clubs apart.
Unisport won the Armenian championship for the first time last season and also made their Champions League debut.
