Unisport Win Armenian Futsal Premier League Title and Qualify for Champions League for the First Time

Unisport have become champions of the Armenian Futsal Premier League after winning the playoff final series against Yerevan. In the second match of the final, Alexander Dibrivny’s team claimed a convincing 8–3 victory and secured the long-awaited league title.
The final match took place in Yerevan, at the Football Academy sports hall. Unisport delivered a confident performance and managed to take revenge for last season, when they lost the title race to Yerevan.
The main heroes of the championship-winning match were Hamlet Manukyan and Eduard Mkrtchyan, who both scored twice. Putrus Vasilyev, Rafik Melikyan and Sargis Margaryan also found the net for Unisport. Another goal against Yerevan was recorded as an own goal by Artur Patatyan.
Patatyan himself was the most productive player for Yerevan, scoring a hat-trick. However, his goals were not enough to bring intrigue back into the final series.
This success is especially important for Unisport. The team not only became Armenian champions, but also earned the right to play in the Futsal Champions League for the first time in its history, where it will represent the country on the international stage.
Sievn finished as the bronze medalist of the Armenian Futsal Premier League. Artur Nahapetyan’s team won the second match of the third-place series against Logicon 6–2 and ended the season in third place.
