Another day of European qualification brought many bright matches and surprises. Spain, Portugal, and Norway kept their perfect records, while Armenia suffered a defeat in Budapest.

Latvia – Andorra 2:2
A surprising slip from Latvia — they failed to beat Andorra at home, conceding a late equalizer.
Bulgaria – Turkey 1:6
Turkey produced a real thrashing in Sofia, scoring five times in the second half. Arda Güler shone again — opening the scoring and providing two assists.
