29-year-old French winger Virgil Pinson has been suspended from Yerevan club Noah’s squad by head coach Sandro Perković’s decision.
The Croatian coach announced this at a press conference after the match against Urartu:
“There are certain values within our club, and as long as I’m the head coach of this team, we must adhere to them. Unfortunately, there was an incident where Pinson showed disrespect toward these principles, and that’s why he’s currently not part of the squad,” said Sandro Perković.
Pinson is one of Noah’s most experienced players and the longest-serving member of the current team. He joined the club in the winter of 2024 under the previous owners and became one of the key figures during the championship season.
The Frenchman has made 62 appearances for Noah, scoring 11 goals and providing 9 assists.
This season, Pinson has played 9 matches and scored 2 goals. His last appearance came on September 20 in the match against Ararat-Armenia, where he received a red card. Since then, he has not been included in the team’s squad list.
It’s possible that the player will leave the club in the winter. His contract runs until the summer of 2026.
Noah will face Romanian side Universitatea Cluj away on October 23 in the UEFA Conference League.
