At the end of the season, Ararat-Armenia's head coach Vardan Minasyan and his entire coaching staff have left the club. The specialist's contract with the Armenian Premier League runners-up has come to an end.
In the final match of the season, Ararat-Armenia crushed Ararat 6-0 and finished second in the league standings.
Minasyan led the Yerevan-based team in two spells — from 2018 to 2020 and from 2023 to 2025. Under his guidance, Ararat-Armenia won the Armenian championship twice, claimed the Armenian Cup once, and lifted the Supercup twice.
The club's official statement reads:
"Vardan Minasyan and his coaching staff — Artak Oseyan, Artur Mkrtchyan, and Denis Zmeu — are concluding their mission at Ararat-Armenia. Under their leadership, our club reached unprecedented heights...
But numbers alone don’t tell the whole story.
They are an inseparable part of our history and will always remain a part of Ararat-Armenia, regardless of the paths that open ahead of them.
Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and compassion.
The legacy you leave behind will live on in the history of our club as a source of inspiration for future generations.
We wish you continued success and are confident that your path will be filled with new victories.”
Vardan Minasyan’s successor has not yet been announced.
