Van defeated Pyunik in a tense match

Football club Van secured an important home victory over Pyunik with a 2–1 score in the 10th round of the Armenian Premier League.

Petros Afajanyan and Eriki scored for the hosts, giving their team the lead. Pyunik’s only goal came in the 90+4th minute through Marius Noubissi, but it wasn’t enough to save the game.

From the 82nd minute, the visitors played with ten men after Aleksandar Milkovic was sent off, which made their task much harder.

After 10 rounds, Van has collected 11 points and moved up to 6th place, while Pyunik sits 5th with 16 points.
