Knockout Yerevan Boxing Night Held in Yerevan

On October 11, a large-scale boxing night called Knockout Yerevan took place in the capital of Armenia, organized with the support of the Boxing Federation of Armenia and the Armenian Professional Boxing Council. During the event, members of the Armenian national team — Ani Hovsepyan, Zaven Galstyan, and Ambartsum Hakobyan — made their professional debuts, all securing confident victories.

The main event of the evening featured Aram Avagyan (12-1-3) against Uzbek boxer Nobirbek Soyibov (10-2). The Armenian fighter won by unanimous decision after ten rounds — 98-88, 99-89, 98-88.

Other results of the evening:

• Ruslan Selimyan (12-0) defeated Mamed Yadgarov (19-7-1) by technical knockout in the second round.

• Vladislav Airiyan (11-0) beat Akzhol Sulaimanbek Uulu (16-4) by technical knockout in the second round.

• Ani Hovsepyan (1-0) claimed a dominant unanimous decision victory over Ksenia Medic (4-38-3) — 60-54, 60-54, 60-54.

• Hayk Alaberkian (1-0) defeated Suren Khachatryan (0-5) by unanimous decision — 58-53, 59-54, 58-54.

• Taron Ohannisyan (6-2) knocked out Aslam Magomedov (8-9-1) in the second round.

• Zaven Galstyan (1-0) scored a first-round knockout against Bakar Gelenidze (7-24-1).

• Erik Evoyan (1-0) defeated Volodya Gevorgyan (0-1) by majority decision — 38-38, 39-37, 39-37.

• Erik Khachatryan (5-0) knocked out Beto Berkatsashvili (12-22) in the first round.

• Ambartsum Hakobyan (1-0) made a strong debut, knocking out Tristan Khizanishvili (3-17-6) in the first round.
