Yerevan’s "Urartu" lost 0:2 to Moscow’s "Lokomotiv" in a friendly match during a training camp in Dubai.
For the Russian team, Vorobyov and Samoshnikov each scored a goal in the first and second halves, respectively.
Nair Tiknizyan played 70 minutes for "Lokomotiv," while Edgar Sevikyan came on in the second half.
The first half was completely dominated by "Lokomotiv," and "Urartu" struggled to create dangerous attacking opportunities. In the second half, the Yerevan team looked significantly better, and the game became more balanced. "Urartu" had good chances through 17-year-old David Harutyunyan and the team’s Brazilian newcomer, Bruno Michel.
Additionally, three players were on trial for "Urartu." One of them is Armenia’s U21 national team forward, Nikolas Kalukyan, while the names of the other two have not been disclosed yet.
On February 11, "Urartu" will play another friendly match against the Chinese club "Zhejiang."
