Urartu crushes Pyunik in Yerevan derby to claim second place

In the headline match of Matchday 27 of the Armenian Premier League, Urartu secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Pyunik and strengthened their position in the race for the medals.
Artem Polyarus was the standout performer, opening the scoring, with Bruno Michel and Narek Aghasaryan also getting on the scoresheet. Another goal came from a Pyunik own goal.
Pyunik’s only goal was scored by Matas Vareika.
With this win, Urartu now sits in second place with 51 points. Pyunik is fourth with 47 points.
