Urartu Beat Shirak Thanks to Ishibashi’s First Goal in the Armenian Championship

Urartu claimed a 1–0 away victory over Shirak in the Armenian Championship.
The only goal of the match came in the 67th minute. Katsuyuki Ishibashi found the net following an assist from Bruno Michel to secure all three points for the Yerevan side. It was the Japanese player’s first goal in the Armenian Championship.
The match in Gyumri proved to be a difficult one for Robert Arzumanyan’s team. Shirak are traditionally a tough opponent on their home ground, but Urartu managed to secure an important victory and protect their narrow lead until the final whistle.
After four rounds, Urartu have seven points and sit fifth in the standings. Shirak have four points and are in seventh place.
