Urartu and Alashkert shared the points in the opening match of Matchday 5 of the Armenian Premier League, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Miguel Rajani found the net following an assist from Bruno Michel.
Alashkert managed to equalize in the second half. In the 81st minute, Momo Toure scored after a pass from Karen Nalbandyan.
It was Rajani’s third goal of the current Armenian Premier League season, while Toure scored his first goal of the campaign.
Following the match, Alashkert sit second in the standings with 10 points. Urartu have 8 points and occupy fourth place.
