Armenia national team and Rubin Kazan midfielder Ugochukwu Iwu has returned from injury and featured in the Matchday 14 game of the Mir Russian Premier League against Dynamo Moscow. The match ended goalless — 0:0.

The Armenian midfielder of Nigerian origin started in the lineup and played 89 minutes, actively helping his team defensively after Konstantin Nizhegorodov was sent off in the 58th minute. Iwu showed great work rate and became one of Rubin’s key players in maintaining the draw while playing with ten men.

Toward the end of the match, the midfielder felt discomfort in his leg and was substituted.
