At UFC 320 in Las Vegas, fight fans witnessed thrilling bouts and a new champion crowned in the light heavyweight division.
Brazil’s Alex Pereira decisively captured the title, knocking out Dagestani fighter Magomed Ankalaev in the very first round of the main event. Ankalaev had held the belt previously. Pereira now holds a record of 13 wins and 3 losses, while Ankalaev stands at 21–2–1.
In the co-main event, Georgian fighter Merab Dvalishvili successfully defended his bantamweight title for the third consecutive time, earning a unanimous decision victory over American Cory Sandhagen (49–45, 49–45, 49–46). Dvalishvili’s record now stands at 21–4, while Sandhagen’s is 18–6.
Additionally, Armenian fighter Edmen Shahbazyan thrilled fans with a spectacular performance, winning his bout by knockout.
