At the ongoing 2025 European Sambo Championship for athletes under 18 in Limassol, the Armenian national team achieved great success: three finalists and two bronze medalists.
Three Armenian representatives advanced to the finals:
In the under 64 kg category, Jonik Ozmanyan defeated competitors from Russia and Israel and will face Georgian Vito Jajanidze in the final bout.
In the under 71 kg category, Gor Shatveryan triumphed over athletes from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus and will battle Ukrainian Roman Garbuz in the final.
Among the girls, in the under 50 kg category, Milena Arakelyan confidently defeated athletes from Georgia and Croatia and will face Russian Alina Ivanova in the final match.
In addition, two Armenian athletes won bronze medals:
In the under 79 kg category, Gor Agasaryan secured bronze by defeating a Greek opponent.
In the under 54 kg category, Manushak Khachatryan claimed bronze by defeating a Serbian athlete.
Unfortunately, some Armenian athletes did not reach the medal rounds:
Aykanush Azizbekyan (47 kg) lost to a Serbian athlete in the bronze medal match.
Suzanna Manukyan (59 kg) was eliminated in the quarterfinals, losing to a Georgian athlete.
Serozha Melkonyan (53 kg) lost to a Greek opponent in the bronze medal bout.
Alex Khachatryan (58 kg) was defeated by an Azerbaijani athlete in the quarterfinals.
Levon Khachatryan (88 kg) was eliminated in the round of 16 after losing to a Ukrainian competitor.
Aren Harutyunyan (98 kg) lost to a Georgian opponent in the bronze medal match.
Davit Barseghyan (+98 kg) was defeated by a Belarusian athlete in the round of 16.

It should be noted that just the day before, the European U20 Sambo Championship concluded in Limassol, where the Armenian team won six medals.
