Armenian national team and Slovan Bratislava midfielder Tigran Barseghyan has been included in the list of the top 100 versatile attacking players in the world, according to the CIES Football Observatory. The research by the analytical center evaluated players based on three key parameters: Take on (dribbling past opponents), Chance creation, and Finishing efficiency.
According to the rankings, Barseghyan scored a total index of 75.0, placing him among the top attacking players globally. His individual category ratings are as follows:
- Take on: 70.6
- Chance creation: 72.1
- Finishing: 82.4
These figures confirm that Barseghyan is one of the most efficient attacking players in his role. According to the CIES classification, he falls into the "Shooter infiltrator" category, describing a player who effectively utilizes scoring opportunities and penetrates the opponent’s penalty area.
Barseghyan is the only Armenian player to make it onto this list. Notably, his Finishing rating of 82.4 ranks him 19th in the world, ahead of Mason Greenwood, Florian Wirtz, and Michael Olise but slightly behind Lamine Yamal. Ousmane Dembélé leads the Finishing category, followed by Kylian Mbappé in second place.
