Tigran Barseghyan with an assist in Slovan’s victory over Spartak Trnava (VIDEO)

Armenia national team captain Tigran Barseghyan provided an assist in the 11th round of the Slovak Super Liga, where Slovan Bratislava defeated Spartak Trnava 2–0 away from home.

Barseghyan assisted Sandro Cruz, who opened the scoring in the first half. After a disappointing performance for Armenia against Ireland, where he was sent off, Tigran delivered a solid and complete match for his club. In addition to the assist, he created another dangerous chance, made a key pass, completed 4 successful dribbles (80%), and won 8 duels. According to SofaScore, he earned a rating of 7.3.

This was Barseghyan’s third assist of the current Slovak league season, to go along with his 4 goals.

After Slovan’s second goal, scored by Marcelli, a small altercation broke out on the pitch — the scorer made a gesture toward the stands, telling fans to be quiet. Barseghyan took part in the scuffle but mainly tried to calm his teammates.
