Armenian national team midfielder Tigran Barseghyan has become a four-time Slovak champion with Slovan Bratislava. The title was secured in the 8th round of the championship group — two matches before the end of the season.
In a dramatic match, Slovan defeated Žilina 4–3. The team was trailing 1–3 during the game but made a comeback, scoring the winning goal in the 73rd minute. David Strelec scored a hat-trick and closed the gap with Barseghyan in the top scorer race. Strelec now has 18 goals, while Barseghyan leads with 20.
Barseghyan wore the captain’s armband, played 85 minutes, and received a 7.1 rating from SofaScore.
