Armenia national team defender Styopa Mkrtchyan played his first full match for Osijek since recovering from injury. The 22-year-old started and completed all 90 minutes in the home game of the 8th round of the Croatian championship against Gorica.
The match ended with a narrow 1-0 win for the hosts. Mkrtchyan was solid in defense and made an important contribution to his team’s clean sheet.
