Tsaghkadzor Main Sports Complex becomes official partner of Tennis Europe

The Tsaghkadzor Main Sports Complex has become an official partner of the European Tennis Federation — Tennis Europe. A corresponding cooperation agreement has been signed between the European organization and the management of the sports complex.

The document was signed by Tennis Europe President Henrik Thorsøe Pedersen and President of the Tennis Federation of Armenia Vardan Zakaryan.

Pedersen highly praised the conditions created in Tsaghkadzor, emphasizing that the sports complex fully meets the requirements for hosting international events.

“It is a great honor for us to sign a cooperation agreement with this sports complex. Ideal conditions have been created here, and the courts meet international standards. The complex has a rich history: world, European and Olympic champions have trained here and continue to train here today. We are very pleased with this cooperation. From now on, the complex is an official partner of Tennis Europe. In the near future, training camps and a number of international tournaments will be organized here. I am confident that training in mid-altitude conditions will contribute to the development of young European tennis players,” said the Tennis Europe president.

David Chibukhchyan, Director of the Tsaghkadzor Main Sports Complex, also stressed the importance of the new partnership. According to him, the agreement with Tennis Europe opens up new opportunities for the development of tennis in Armenia and for attracting European national teams.

“Today, another important step related to the development of tennis was taken. A cooperation agreement was signed with the European Tennis Federation, and from now on our sports complex is considered an official partner of Tennis Europe. Our list of partners has expanded once again. We have always had partners among federations of various sports from CIS countries, while this cooperation will open new paths for tennis national teams from European countries,” Chibukhchyan said.

The partnership with Tennis Europe could become an important step in strengthening Tsaghkadzor’s position as an international sports center. In the future, the complex may host training camps, junior programs and international competitions under the auspices of the European Tennis Federation.
