Spertsyan Completes Medical and Signs Contract With Al Ahli — Official Announcement Remains

Krasnodar and Armenia national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan is close to completing an official move to Saudi club Al Ahli.

According to Saudi journalist Sami Al-Qadi, the Armenian footballer has successfully completed his medical examination and has already signed a contract with the club from Saudi Arabia. The parties now only need to wait for the official announcement of the transfer.

It was previously reported that Al Ahli had agreed a deal with Krasnodar for Spertsyan’s transfer. According to media reports, the transfer fee could be around $25 million, while the player’s contract is expected to run until 2029 with an option to extend for one more season.

Spertsyan is one of the leaders of both Krasnodar and the Armenian national team. In recent seasons, he has been a key player for the Russian club and has regularly attracted interest from clubs abroad.

If the transfer is officially confirmed, Spertsyan’s move to Al Ahli will become one of the biggest deals in the history of Armenian football.
