South Korean star Son Heung-min, currently playing for Los Angeles, may soon find himself back in Europe. According to British media reports, the forward is considering a short-term loan move to a European club to maintain his match fitness ahead of the summer World Cup.
The most likely destination is believed to be AC Milan, where David Beckham once played under similar conditions. Following his example, Son may return to the Old Continent for a few months.
The 33-year-old forward joined Los Angeles this summer and quickly became a key player for the team. In 10 appearances, he has scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists, becoming a fan favorite and the face of the franchise.
A potential move back to Europe would help the South Korea national team captain maintain his top form and leadership role ahead of the biggest football tournament of the year.
