Simonyan scored, but Rotor lost to Arsenal (VIDEO)

Armenian midfielder Artyom Simonyan scored his second goal for Rotor, but the Volgograd side suffered a 1–2 defeat against Tula’s Arsenal in the 17th round of the Russian First League.

Simonyan, along with his compatriot David Davidyan, played 59 minutes each. Another Armenian player, Tigran Avanesyan, remained on the bench for Arsenal Tula.

After 17 rounds, Rotor sits 6th in the league table, while Arsenal is in 11th place.
