Armenian boxer Sebastian Terteryan (1–0) achieved an impressive victory in his professional debut. During the boxing event in Fresno, California (USA), he confidently knocked out American Dustin Spencer (0–2) in the very first round, demonstrating power and high-level preparation.
After the fight, Terteryan emphasized that this victory holds special meaning for him. He dedicated it to Vanes Martirosyan, an outstanding Armenian boxer who passed away a week ago.
“I dedicate this victory to a true legend. Beyond everything he accomplished in the ring, he will be remembered first and foremost as a remarkable person and as a strong Armenian-American boxer who reached the world level. To all Armenians in the U.S. who welcomed us with open arms — thank you, and thanks to the sponsors who truly cared about us,” Terteryan said.
It is worth noting that Sebastian’s twin brother, Nikolai Terteryan, also recently made a successful professional boxing debut.
