Armenian boxer Nikolai Terteryan (1-0) began his professional career with a spectacular victory. On July 12, at a boxing event in Fresno (USA), he knocked out Issa Ajilat (0-2) just 48 seconds into the first round.
The 24-year-old Terteryan previously represented Denmark at the amateur level, competing at the 2024 Olympic Games and winning gold at the European Games.
Nikolai’s pro debut featured a symbolic gesture: he and his entire team entered the arena wearing Armenia national football team jerseys, highlighting his heritage and connection to his roots.

The impressive performance in Fresno marked a promising start to the Armenian-Danish fighter’s career in professional boxing.
It’s also worth noting that Nikolai’s twin brother, Sebastian, was scheduled to fight on the same night, but his bout was cancelled due to his opponent’s injury.
