Hungary lose their first-choice goalkeeper ahead of the match against Armenia

The Hungarian national team have suffered another squad blow ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Armenia. The team’s main goalkeeper and Ferencváros player, Dénes Dibusz, has suffered an injury and will miss the upcoming qualifying matches against Armenia and Portugal.
To replace the injured goalkeeper, Patrik Demjén from MTK has been called up to the national team.
Earlier, it was reported that forwards Barnabás Varga and Roland Sallai will also miss the match against Armenia due to suspension.
The Hungary vs Armenia match will take place on October 11.
