Montenegro National Team Announces Squad for Match Against Armenia

Montenegro’s head coach Robert Prosinečki has announced a list of 27 players called up for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic (June 6) and the friendly match against Armenia (June 9).
Among the call-ups are several players well-known to fans from Europe’s top leagues and the Russian Premier League. The list includes Lazio defender Adam Marušić, Juventus U21 midfielder Vasilije Adžić, and RPL players Igor Vujačić (Rubin) and Stefan Lončar (Akron). Also returning is legendary captain Stevan Jovetić, the 34-year-old forward who currently plays for Omonia in Cyprus.

Montenegro will begin preparations for the match against the Czech Republic on May 30. They will face the Czech Republic on June 6, followed by the match against Armenia in Podgorica on June 9.
Before this, the Armenian national team will also play a friendly match — against Kosovo on June 6.
