Armenia U17 lose to Lebanon in friendly match

The Armenia U17 national team played their first friendly against their counterparts from Lebanon as part of a training camp in Yerevan.
The match ended in a 2-1 victory for Lebanon.
Armenia’s only goal was scored by Urartu midfielder Samvel Beglaryan. Jawad Muslimani and Ramez Mochawrab scored for Lebanon.
The teams will play one more friendly match. The second meeting between the Armenia and Lebanon U17 national teams will take place on September 19.
The matches are part of Armenia’s preparations for the qualifying round of the 2026/27 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
Following the draw, Armenia were placed in the same group as France, Italy and Luxembourg. All matches in the group will be played in Yerevan.
