Armenia U16 defeat Moldova to reach EuroBasket final

The Armenia U16 basketball team have reached the final of the 2026 FIBA U16 European Championship Division C, which is being held in Yerevan.
In the semifinal, Armenia defeated Moldova 82–66.
Anthony Sarkisian was the most efficient player of the game. The Armenian basketball player recorded an impressive double-double with 26 points and 26 rebounds. He also contributed one assist and one steal.
Dmitri Haiyan scored 17 points, while Ethan Leonardo Kazanjian finished with 15 points and seven assists. Mihail Petrov also registered a double-double, recording 11 points and 15 rebounds, along with five assists and four steals.
In the final, Armenia will face the winner of the other semifinal between Kosovo and Malta. The decisive game of the tournament will take place on July 12.
